This presentation, from the Renewable Energy Systems Training (REST) Laboratory Development and Workforce Training project, was given during an in-person K-12 Workshop held in 2022. This presentation goes over some preliminary concepts and then covers the following topics: current, voltage, renewable vs. non-renewable energy, solar energy, hydro and wind energy, and using hydrogen as fuel cells. Preliminary concepts include: what is an electron, what are current and voltage, and what is resistance? A related lab activity is available to view separately.
