This case study highlights the Borough of Manhattan Community College's creation of an accessible robotics curriculum in collaboration with the Center for Applied Special Technology (CAST). This curriculum was "used for outreach to high schools in order to increase the representation of students of color in computer science fields." Accessibility best practices for lesson plans, section headings, tables, and image descriptions are explored. Best practices also include information on alternative text and assistive technologies, such as screen readers.
