This 25-page report, published by Maritime State University, describes the design and construction of Bismark, an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV). This report was created by Robocenter, a student group that participated in the 2021 MATE ROV competitions Ranger class. MATE ROV is a global underwater robotics competition for STEM students. The competition includes Explorer, Ranger, Navigator, and Scout classes.

In the report, an abstract introduces the team and project. Information on teamwork decisions are then presented. The design rationale is then explored, which includes information on parts decisions, the system approach, vehicle structure, control and electrical systems, propulsion, the carrying system, the payload, and problem solving. Safety decisions, testing and troubleshooting, and prototyping are then considered. Accounting information is also presented.

Manuals for each class and technical documentation from other teams are available to view separately.
