Students all agreed that their participation in the internship gave them a great work experience. Their teamwork skills improved dramatically. They strongly encouraged other students to apply for similar projects as they felt it really prepared them for a job in the industry.
The client enjoyed working with the interns and watch the project as it was being developed. They found that the simulation will be very useful for their students in culinary and baking courses.
Five students worked on a simulation to train the students enrolled in the Early Childhood program. The simulation was completed at the end of December 2022.

Six students worked on a crime scene simulation for the Cyber-Security department. The simulation will be used to train students enrolled in the Computer Crime Investigations course.

Six students worked as a team during the semester of Fall 2021 to develop a plating simulation. The client was the Culinary Arts department. The simulation is currently used to train students enrolled in the Baking II course in the art of creating beautiful desserts!

Prior to taking part in the development of the simulation, all interns are required to take a course on Responsible Conduct of Research. It is a 4 hour course designed to share with the interns some of the ethical practices of research.
The training is broken into 3 distinct modules.
