NOVA’s Junior Makers program creates a fun, social environment for our youngest generation of makers to be introduced to fabrication and to build confidence in their STEM and problem-solving skills!

They offer a wide range of topics and activities for 4th-8th grade students to create a unique project with their parent or guardian. Sessions are typically held on Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

The AVS International Symposium and Exhibition addresses cutting edge issues associated with materials, processing and interfaces in both the research and manufacturing communities.

For participants wanting to transform their idea into a 3D digital format: Join an in-person workshop to learn the basic tools and user interface of Fusion360. (Free software download available with .edu email.)

Join "Girls Can, Too!" Fall 2024 events for the Computerized Manufacturing and Machining Lab! This event will take place on November 16, 2024 from 10:00am-12:00pm at BCTC Advanced Manufacturing Center in Georgetown, KY. All events are free to attend, you only need to supply transportation. All communication about the events will occur through email. You will be sent information with directions, parking, and safety information the week of the event if you have registered.
