This video from the Building Efficiency for a Sustainable Tomorrow (BEST) Center features a presentation by Carolyn Szum, Program Manager at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. This presentation was given at the 2021 BEST Annual Institute: Sustaining Healthy and Energy Efficient Buildings Through Technician Education.

In this presentation, Szum describes the BETTER (Building Energy Tools for Energy Retrofits) project, a free online tool that “identifies cost-saving energy and emissions reductions in buildings.” Szum covers the BETTER workflow, data input requirements, how it processes data, and provides a live demonstration of running the BETTER tool.

This video runs 00:44:17 minutes in length. Other videos in this series are available to view separately
