ICS Security Basics (Part 4 of 4)
This video, presented by instructor Tony Hills from the Cybersecurity Education for Advanced Manufacturing Organizations project, is the last in a series of lectures on industrial control system (ICS) security. In this lecture, Hills discusses network security tools and provides an introduction to the Ethernet and Industrial Protocol (IP) communications. Topics covered include a history of the Ethernet protocol, the two types of communications supported by it, security issues associated with Ethernet, and more. Additionally, Hills introduces three tools that can by used for industrial control network security: Wireshark, Metasploit, and Python. The use of each tool and its relevance to network security are described.
