Rubber Glove Video

This resource, provided by Erie Community College, consists of three videos demonstrating the expansion of a rubber glove in a Rough Vacuum Equipment Trainer (RVET) when pressure is removed from the chamber. In the first video, the presenter guides viewers through the experiment's setup, covering RVET gauge position and valves used. Video two demonstrates the drop in pressure inside of the chamber, with the presenter narrating the changes that lead to the glove's expansion. In part three, the results of the experiment are discussed and pressure is reintroduced, causing the glove to return to its normal state. These videos accompany topics discussed in the Introduction to Vacuum Technology E-book, developed by Erie Community College.
