Module 2: Lessons 1 - Connected Vehicles

This learning module, from the National Center for Autonomous Technologies (NCAT), provides a lesson on connected vehicles for Middle School students. The lesson introduces students to the basic ideas of how vehicles can be interconnected to each other as well as to the transportation infrastructure. Students are provided with driver safety prompts as well as direct vehicle control. Learning outcomes include the following: 

• Students will be able to explain connected vehicle technology and its applications to transportation.
• Students will learn the basics of programming.
