This presentation, made available by the University of Hawaii at Honolulu, provides information and guidance on computer security and cyber attacks when working from home. The "threat landscape" during the COVID-19 pandemic is described, including a public service announcement from the FBI and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. The types of threats using COVID-19 include: Spam, Malicious Websites, Malware, Business Email Compromise (BEC), Ransomware, Browser Apps, and more.

Guidelines for setting up a secure home office include: backing up and securing files, using multi-factor authentication, turning off devices that are not in use, ensuring the most recent update/version of the computer operating system in use, checking with IT support staff for department security resources, scan all devices for malware and viruses, separate personal and work internet use, and more.

The presentation concludes with examples of phishing attempts, descriptions of key cybersecurity concepts, and additional guidelines for securing home devices.
