NABCEP New Specialty Certifications Webinar

This webinar, provided by the Center for Renewable Energy Advanced Technological Education Resource Center (CREATE), was presented on April 27, 2018 by Shawn O'Brien, from the North American Board of Certified Enginery Practitioners (NABCEP). During this presentation O'Brien discusses the history of NABCEP, changes in the renewable energy industry, and NABCEP specialty certifications. The webinar provides information on pathways to these certifications and the value of these certifications to the PV labor market and to the renewable energy industry. The certifications discussed include PV Design Specialist (PVDS), Installer Specialist (PVIS), and PV Commissioning and Maintenance Specialist (PVCMS).
