This video, provided by Columbia Gorge Community College, is the first part of a two part lecture that includes an exercise in programming multifunction inputs on the Omron 3G3JX-AE004 motor drive. In this exercise, viewers will learn about installing external input devices and how to program this motor drive "to recognize and respond to these remote inputs."  The exercise includes "chang[ing] the drive from sinking to sourcing input format, examin[ing] the 00 FWD and 01 REV functions in detail, discuss[ing] the proper sequence to hand control these remote inputs, and learn[ing] to monitor remote input status."
