Introduction to Band Ratios Part 1

This resource, created by Integrated Geospatial Education and Technology Training Project (iGETT), is the first in a series of two videos about band ratios. This video provides an introduction to band ratios and covers the following topics: what is a band ratio, what key ideas govern band ratios, a practical example of a common application, and ideas for other applications using different bands. The video also briefly compares which bands to use with Landsat 5, 7, or 8. This video runs 6:49 minutes in length. The second video is available to view separately.
