Business and Industry Leadership Team (BILT) Promotional Material

This collection of promotional material, from the National Convergence Technology Center (CTC), includes flyers, an informational booklet, and a number of graphics. The informational booklet was developed to provide a comprehensive overview of the key grant goals and missions of the CTC: the Convergence College Network (CCN) community of practice, Working Connections faculty training, and the Business and Industry Leadership Team (BILT) model. The booklet also offers a handful of student success stories.

The brochures provide an overview of the BILT model for engaging employers and encouraging "co-ownership" of technical programs to help actively steer curriculum to meet workforce needs. One of the brochures presents the six essential elements of a successful BILT, the key difference between a BILT and a more traditional advisory council, and keys for seeking new BILT members. The graphical resources are intended to to help others with BILT efforts, and include information about the differences between traditional advisory councils and a BILT, a quick overview of what a BILT is, an explanation of KSA rankings, and more.
