SHINE Nanotechnology Lectures
This collection of resources is provided by Seattle's Hub for Industry-driven Nanotechnology Education (SHINE) and includes six nanotechnology PowerPoint lectures. Lectures include Applications of Nanotechnology, Intro to Scanning Electron Microscope, Nanotechnology Characterization, Natnotechnology Fabrication, Nanotechnology Review, and What is Nanotechnology. These lectures cover topics such as Why Study Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Why "Nano" is Interesting, Surface Area and Energy, Melting Points, Electrical Properties, Light Microscopes, Electron Microscopes, Scanning Electron Microscope: Electron Beam Interactions, What fields use nano-enhanced products, Nanotechnology Materials, Characterization Techniques, Nanoparticles, Scanning Probe Microscopy, Nanomaterial Fabrication, Types of Fabrication, and many more. Some slides include lecture notes.
For orientation purposes SHINE_Lectures_What is Nanotechnology.pdf is included as a separate attachment and offers a sample of the type of material included in this collection.
