These Water Splitting (Fuel Cell) lab resources were created by SHINE: Seattle's Hub for Industry-driven Nanotechnology Education. "This lab consists of activities designed to teach students about fuel cells by splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen using electrolysis." Resources include presentation slides, a water splitting lab activity, and an MSDS: Materials Safety Data Sheet. The 23-page water splitting lab activity includes three learning outcomes, standards alignments, background information, materials needed, directions, and more. The PowerPoint presentation covers electricity, electron flow, and hydrogen stored energy.
