Stephanie Wilkerson

Stephanie is located in Charlottesville, VA and is the lead evaluator for the NSF-funded Developing and Diversifying the Geospatial and Unmanned Aircraft Systems Technician Workforce (GeoTEd-UAS Expansion) project, jointly supported by The Virginia Space Grant Consortium, Germanna Community College, Virginia Community College System, and Virginia Tech. The GeoTEd-UAS Expansion project aims to (1) develop employer-aligned geospatial technologies and small unmanned aircraft systems curricula, courses, and academic pathways at GCC;(2) build educator capacity by providing professional development and active mentoring for community college faculty and dual-enrollment teachers;and (3) increase the number and diversity of students in the geospatial technologies and small unmanned aircraft systems workforce pipeline.
