The Sustainable Facilities Operation Associate Degree program, created by professionals at Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC), is designed to help prepare students to manage facility operations in roles such as energy manager, facilities manager, maintenance supervisor, and many more. The program places "emphasis ... on cost-effective energy options, direct digital controls, energy management systems, sustainable operations management, maintenance management, commissioning, and project management."

Instructor Guide Description:

SUSTN 106 Measurement and Verification is one of eight classes in the Sustainable Facilities Operations Program. This 26-page instructor guide outlines this accelerated course that "covers different methods of measuring and verifying energy savings." The guide contains possible tests, homework assignments, and classroom activities intended to encourage class participation, which help students understand "simple to complex methodologies for measuring success so that systems and projects are documented and managed." The instructor guide can assist educators in developing a course that teaches students to "take spot measurements and apply data; and analyze data by using calculators and graphic techniques."

A program guide and other course guides are available to view separately.
