Instructor Guide Description:
SUSTN: 102 Reporting Sustainable Systems Performance is one of eight classes in the Sustainable Facilities Operations Program. This 19-page instructor guide outlines this course that teaches students the basic skills involved in "designing, building, maintaining and operating sustainable (green) buildings." The guide contains possible tests, homework assignments, and activities to encourage class participation, which help students gain basic reporting and presenting skills, as well as the ability to "understand and work with basic facility utility data to calculate benchmarks using spreadsheets." The instructor guide can assist educators in developing a course that teaches students to "use Blackboard, describe basic concepts of metering and billing information, use spreadsheets, organize electronic information, and give a presentation using core presentation software and an overhead projector."
A program guide and other course guides are available to view separately.
