Viewing Microstructures of Materials Using the Optical Microscope

This nine-page guide from Edmonds Community College provides an instructional module introducing students to microscopy using a light microscope.  Students learn about light optical microscopy and how to use a microscope to optimize sample viewing. Through a presentation and hands-on microscopy use, students will gain an understanding of how microscopes work and how to identify its components.
