The BIG Event provides science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts and educational exhibits to Girl Scouts, their families, and the community. Local organizations are invited to host a booth and provide hands-on, minds-on activities that introduce participants to STEM. Hosted in six locations around the council, the BIG Event gives girls an opportunity to explore all the ways STEM interests can become a lifelong career.
Girl Scouts introduces girls of every age and their families to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), and helps them take action to change the world – whether they’re programming robots, building a bridge, learning code, caring for animals or piloting a flight simulator.
