"The Wheel":

Troubleshooting Methodology Video

This video introduces all four of the main parts of the Bridgerland Troubleshooting Methodology and has been designed to be a quick visual reminder of the process you should go through when encountering problems or issues. It covers the first loop of the troubleshooting methodology and details the process of (1) gathering information, (2) identifying possible causes, (3) replacing / fixing & testing the troubled part or system, and (4) evaluating if the fix has been effective and if everything is operating correctly.

Refer to the overview video (above) and graphic (below) frequently throughout your studies until you know the process and it becomes second nature.

Troubleshooting Gears

We will cover the second loop later in this program once you have become more familiar with the first wheel and have committed the four steps to memory.

Using this method will help you to become a better troubleshooter and solve issues more efficiently. Each time you encounter and fix problems you gain more experience and become more effective.
