Common Component Failure Problems
- Cylinder is not moving.
- Verify component has flow and correct pressure.
- If no flow, verify hoses are hooked up correctly and not leaking.
- If incorrect pressure, check upstream in the system.
- Fix pressure or issue upstream.
- Cylinder doesn't move smoothly or stutters.
- Possible internal damage, such as seals worn out.
- Rod does not come out correctly or all the way.
- Possibly internal damage such as a bent rod or the inside of the cylinder is pitted.
