Think of pressure-reducing valves as the system’s way of saying “just enough.” When full system pressure is too much for a component, this valve limits it automatically, helping balance function and safety. You've already explored other types of pressure control valves—now, you'll see how this one works in applications that demand precise, reduced pressure, such as sequential clamping by building the circuit you drew in the previous lab.
This is a list of components used in this lab. Click on each link to view the reference page for that component. Components that are used in every lab are listed under “Other Troubleshooting Reference Pages.”

Learn how to troubleshoot the new components used in this lab by watching the videos below.
For this assignment there is not a video to watch. You should be familiar enough with the trainer and the schematic provided that you can do this lab on your own. This is Lab #13, Pressure Reducing Valve Adjustment.
The Pressure Reducing Valve may be the type that requires you to pull the knob out before rotating for adjustment.
Once you have done this, submit a video. Additional submission criteria can be found in the rubric. Good luck.
