INTRODUCTION

When a hydraulic press stops mid-cycle on a factory floor, the technician who can quickly locate the fault is the one everyone relies on. Pressure issues, stuck valves, or leaks can all cause sudden shutdowns. You’ve already learned how a pressure-reducing circuit functions and assembled one yourself. In this assessment, your instructor will disrupt your circuit, and you’ll take on the technician’s role to troubleshoot and repair it.
