INTRODUCTION
One of the primary skills you MUST learn in this program is how to employ troubleshooting methodology. In this lab you will do the following:
- Schedule a time with an instructor.
- You will leave your training board with the instructor.
- Your instructor is going to break something on the training board you put together previously.
LAB INSTRUCTIONS
Then you will do the following:
- The instructor will walk through how to properly troubleshoot the problem using the Bridgerland Troubleshooting Methodology
- You will leave the room again.
- The instructor will break a new thing.
- You will then troubleshoot the problem by verbally walking through the Bridgerland Troubleshooting Methodology (references are allowed)
- If the problem can not be found and repaired within about 5 minutes, then the instructor will give cues and other help as needed.
- (The point of this lab is to establish expectations for future troubleshooting labs, and introduce how to employ the methodology. We do not expect mastery this early in the process.)
- Fill out this Maintenance Report sheet and submit it. This can be done electronically or by hand.
- The instructor will sign off that you have completed the lab using the rubric below. Please note that part of your grade for this assignment will include several workplace skills and expectations required by employers and by Bridgerland.
